Why this blog?
My name's Ben Cain and I'm a cameraman based out of New York City. I've been involved in digital video since 1999 and have been working in camera department for film/tv since 2004. I use this blog both as a place to keep track of my research and to share information and opinions with other video professionals. Feel free to leave comments or email me directly.
What I do:
I save producers substantial money and time in post by ensuring images are captured at the highest possible quality, reflect the creative intentions of the production, and are in the correct delivery specifications without recording errors. I'm experienced with commercial, episodic, feature film, documentary, and live production. I'm available for work or consulting anywhere in the world.
